Rabbi Yosef Deitsch

Rabbi Yosef Deitsch brings deep dedication, warmth, and a steady, supportive presence to the Upper Boys class at Yeshivas Yakir Li. With many years of experience guiding talmidim in both school and camp settings, he is committed to creating an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed.

For many years, Rabbi Deitsch served as the High School Dormitory Mashgiach at Yeshiva Toras Chaim. In this intensive role, he provided a safe, comfortable, and nurturing “home environment” for talmidim around the clock. He expertly managed their physical and emotional needs, ensuring they had the foundation necessary to thrive both in the classroom and beyond. His ability to support students with consistency, empathy, and genuine care became a defining hallmark of his work.

Rabbi Deitsch further honed his commitment to empowering individuals as a popular Division Head at Camp Mogen Avrohom. There, he developed dynamic programs designed to bring out the individuality and unique potential of each camper, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

At Yeshivas Yakir Li, Rabbi Deitsch brings this same passion and dedication to the Beis Midrash. He works tirelessly to gift students with skills and values that will serve them for life—not just for the moment. His teaching is infused with a deep love of Torah, a belief in each child’s potential, and a desire to create a true makom of growth and belonging.
