Rabbi Mordechai Yachnes

Rabbi Yachnes was born and raised in Israel and has been teaching First Grade Judaic Studies at the Torah Academy of Boca Raton for many years. In addition to his work in the classroom, he serves as the Youth Coordinator for Shabbos and holiday groups at the Young Israel of Boca Raton. Rabbi Yachnes has a deep passion for inspiring young children through engaging stories that impart meaningful lessons in middos (character development). He loves bringing joy and energy into the classroom with singing and guitar playing—especially during Yom Tov, when the atmosphere becomes even more special and memorable for his students. Above all, Rabbi Yachnes strives to leave a lasting impression on his students, instilling values and memories that will stay with them for a lifetime.
