Rabbi Avrohom Richmond

Rabbi Avrohom Richmond is an experienced and passionate Jewish educator with nearly two decades of work in chinuch, curriculum development, and teaching students of all ages. Growing up in the greater New York area, he attended Yeshiva in Queens and later received smicha from Rabbi Moshe Heinemann of Baltimore, reflecting his strong commitment to Torah scholarship, halachic clarity, and meaningful leadership.

Over the years, Rabbi Richmond has taught students from kindergarten through 12th grade, guiding them through a wide range of Judaic subjects including Chumash, Navi, Mishna, and Parshas HaShavua. He is known for his dynamic, engaging teaching style and his ability to create warm, nurturing classroom environments tailored to the unique needs of each child. His people‑centered approach, genuine care, and steady presence have supported the academic, emotional, and personal growth of countless students.

In addition to his classroom work, Rabbi Richmond has contributed significantly to outreach and community programming, mentoring youth and organizing initiatives that strengthen Jewish identity and connection. His dedication to chinuch extends far beyond formal lessons, shaping the way children see themselves, their learning, and their relationship with Torah.

At Yeshivas Yakir Li, Rabbi Richmond brings his extensive experience, thoughtful teaching methods, and unwavering commitment to fostering a deep love for Torah and Jewish values. As the 1st–3rd Grade Boys Rebbi, he creates a classroom environment filled with warmth, clarity, and excitement for learning. His presence enriches the YYLI community each day, supporting students as they grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually. Rabbi Richmond resides in East Boca with his wife and four children.
