Ms. Zarriah Brooker

Lead General Studies, Lower Elementary Girls

Zarriah Brooker serves as the Lead Hashem’s World teacher for the Lower Elementary girls at Yeshivas Yakir Li. With seven years of experience in Montessori education and recently completed Montessori training, she brings a calm, thoughtful, and deeply child‑centered approach to her classroom. Over the course of her Montessori journey, she has developed a strong passion for helping children grow into confident, independent, and kind individuals.

Zarriah believes that every child learns in her own unique way. She is dedicated to creating a warm, supportive environment where students feel safe to explore, ask questions, and discover their abilities. In Hashem’s World, she guides girls through hands‑on learning, meaningful exploration, and daily opportunities to build curiosity, responsibility, and a sense of wonder about the world around them. Her classroom blends gentle structure with freedom to explore, allowing each child to grow at her own pace while developing a strong foundation for learning.

Outside of school, Zarriah enjoys spending time in nature, trying new foods, traveling, and expressing her creativity through arts and crafts. She values building meaningful relationships with children and their families and loves getting to know each student throughout the school year.

Zarriah is grateful to be part of the Yakir Li community and is committed to creating a year filled with learning, growth, and discovery.
