With 19 years of experience as a Montessori educator, Patty Layana brings a deep commitment to nurturing each child’s academic, social, and emotional growth. She is passionate about fostering independence, confidence, and a joyful curiosity — the core of both Montessori learning and the spirit of Hashem’s World.
As both a Montessori teacher and a parent, Patty has lived the Montessori philosophy from two meaningful perspectives. Her three children were Montessori students, giving her a firsthand appreciation for the lasting impact this approach has on a child’s development and inner world.
After nearly two decades at one Montessori school, Patty is excited to begin a new chapter at Yeshivas Yakir Li. She looks forward to building strong relationships with students and families, guiding children as they explore Hashem’s world with wonder, confidence, and joy.
