Mrs. Michelle Egas
Assistant Teacher, Primary
Michelle Egas brings more than 20 years of experience in education and a warm, steady presence to Yeshivas Yakir Li. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she later moved to Florida to be closer to family. She is the proud mother of four children and shares her home with two cats and a dog who keep life lively and full.
Through her work as a substitute in Montessori schools, Michelle developed a deep appreciation for Montessori education and the way it supports independence, confidence, and joyful learning. She carries that understanding into her role as an assistant, helping create a classroom environment where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to grow.
Outside of school, Michelle loves going to the beach, staying active at the gym, and spending meaningful time with her family. She looks forward to getting to know each child and family and to helping make this school year a positive, caring, and truly joyful experience.
