Mrs. Devora Young

Devora Young is an experienced educator and learning specialist with more than two decades of work supporting children with a wide range of learning needs. She holds a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education and is licensed in Florida in Exceptional Student Education, Preschool Education, and Pre‑K/Primary Education. Devora is also a certified Kriah Specialist with training in multiple Kriah methodologies, allowing her to tailor instruction with precision and care.
Devora specializes in differentiated instruction and multisensory teaching, creating individualized learning experiences that help children build confidence, independence, and academic success. She spent more than ten years as a Resource Room Teacher at Lubavitch Educational Center and later founded The Reading & Learning Zone, where she partnered closely with children and families to design personalized curricula and engaging, project‑based learning experiences. Her work has reached students of all ages, both in the U.S. and abroad.
Warm, patient, and deeply committed to helping each child reach their potential, Devora brings extensive experience in both General and Judaic Studies, along with a passion for helping every student become a confident, independent learner. Her thoughtful, nurturing approach reflects her belief in meeting each child exactly where they are and guiding them toward meaningful growth.
As a mother of six, Devora understands the importance of open communication and creating a warm, supportive environment for her students. Her presence enriches the YYLI community with expertise, empathy, and a steadfast dedication to children’s success.
