Mrs. Deidra Zussman
Director of Strategy and Operations
Deidra Zussman is excited to join Yeshivas Yakir Li as Director of Strategy and Operations. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the nonprofit and Jewish communal world, with a background in organizational leadership, operations, fundraising and grants, community engagement, and program development.
Most recently, Deidra served in senior leadership at Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services, where she oversaw grant strategy and management and worked across departments to strengthen programs, systems, and organizational operations. Throughout her career, she has been especially drawn to work that brings people together, strengthens community, and helps organizations grow thoughtfully and effectively.
Deidra and her husband, Yair, live in Boca Raton with their five children, including children at Yakir Li. As both a parent and a member of the school’s leadership team, strengthening our school community and supporting Yakir Li’s continued growth.
In her new role, Deidra will work across school operations, strategy, admissions, parent engagement, and organizational development. She is looking forward to getting to know more of the Yakir Li families and helping make the school an even stronger and more connected community.
