Mrs. Aliza Simblist

Aliza Simblist brings warmth, enthusiasm, and a steady, encouraging presence to Yeshivas Yakir Li. Recently married, she moved from Miami to Boca Raton and is grateful to be part of a community that values meaningful connection and child‑centered learning. Before joining Yakir Li, Aliza worked at JEMS, where she supported children with special needs — an experience that strengthened her love for working with kids and deepened her understanding of how to meet each child with patience, empathy, and respect.

Aliza is currently pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Psychology, a field that fuels her passion for creating environments where children feel confident, curious, and excited to learn. She is dedicated to helping students build independence, emotional awareness, and a sense of belonging in the classroom. Her approach is gentle and supportive, ensuring that every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.

Outside of school, Aliza enjoys reading, writing, hiking, practicing yoga, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. She loves building meaningful relationships with children and their families and looks forward to a joyful, engaging, and growth‑filled school year.
