Mr. Yehuda Heller
Middle School Boys Program Coordinator
Yehuda Heller is a Licensed Master Social Worker who brings over a decade of experience supporting children and adolescents across schools, camps, and clinical settings. His work centers on social‑emotional development as a natural part of a child’s day, woven into movement, play, and meaningful activity. Whether through sports, yoga, music, or time in the garden, Yehuda focuses on building relationships and creating environments where students feel grounded, supported, and genuinely excited to grow.
Yehuda believes that children thrive when they feel connected — to themselves, to others, and to the world around them. He integrates social‑emotional learning into everyday moments, helping students develop self‑awareness, resilience, communication skills, and confidence. His approach is gentle, attuned, and deeply relational, meeting each child where they are and supporting them in ways that feel authentic and empowering.
With experience across diverse educational and therapeutic settings, Yehuda brings a calm, steady presence to the Yakir Li community. He is committed to partnering with teachers and families to create spaces where children feel safe, understood, and inspired to grow — emotionally, socially, and as whole human beings.
