Mr. Danny De Berry has been dedicated to the Montessori method for more than 20 years, bringing his expertise to both primary and elementary classrooms. He holds AMI diplomas in Primary and Elementary education, grounding his work in authentic Montessori principles and a deep respect for each child’s learning journey.
Originally from New Jersey, Mr. Danny spent 15 years refining his craft in Boston before settling in South Florida, where he has lived for the past decade. His teaching is shaped by warmth, clarity, and a commitment to creating a classroom environment where students feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and support one another. He values community, independence, and the kind of learning that grows from curiosity and confidence.
Outside the classroom, Mr. Danny enjoys photography, capturing the beauty and detail of the world around him — a creative passion that mirrors his thoughtful, observant approach to teaching. His dedication to education and his creative spirit make him a meaningful and valued member of the YYLI teaching team.
